April 29 - The Final Night

Here are a few points that we might want to discuss on our final night.  Review these and then organize your thoughts.  Do you have examples of where these ideas worked?

We will have Julie Lindsay Skype in from Bejing, China tonight. Julie is one of the founders of the Flat Classroom project.  She will be sharing her ideas on project-based learning at a global level.   Julie should start about 6:30 or so.

With luck, we will also be joined by Ferdi Serim of New Mexico at about 8:15. Dr. Serim was instrumental in the creation of the Partnership for 21st Century Skills.  He has a futuristic perspective on where education needs to go and how to get there.  Ferdi is an ex-board member for ISTE and an avid flutist.  He is a member of the Thornburg Center for Professional Development. He has been active in educational technology for 30 years and has made a difference.
